------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary:
Updated gdb package

An updated gdb package that includes a new snapshot from FSF mainline is
now available.

Description:
GDB is a debugger for C, C++, and other programming languages.

This updated gdb package is based on a new snapshot from the Free Software
Foundation mainline, taken on June 7, 2004. It includes all the fixes that
are present in the FSF gdb-6.1.1 release.

Fixes include:
- Itanium: better support for watchpoints
- PPC64: passing functions as parameters in inferior function calls
- Backtrace through signal handlers improved on all arches
- Backtrace through calls via NULL function pointers
- New start command
- Java debugging improvements

This package also contains fixes allowing multiple architecture versions to
be installed at the same time without conflicts.

All users of gdb should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
these issues.
