Summary:
Updated cvs package
An updated cvs package that fixes a bug which prevented the reuse of log
messages is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.
Description:
CVS (Concurrent Version System) is a version control system that can
record the history of files (usually, but not always, source
code). CVS only stores the differences between versions, instead of
every version of every file you have ever created. CVS also keeps a log
of who, when, and why changes occurred.
Versions of CVS earlier than 1.11.3 did not properly recognize unmodified
log messages when committing changes to multiple subdirectories within the
same module.
All users of cvs should upgrade to this updated package, which includes a
backported fix for this issue.
