Summary: We have two digital cameras available for check-out to UCI faculty, staff and students.

General Information

We have two digital cameras available for use by UCI faculty, staff, and students. The cameras may be checked out for 24 hours. You must sign a liability form taking financial responsibility for loss or damage to the camera and leave your UCI ID card as collateral.

Checking Out/In A Camera

You may borrow a camera at the NACS Help Desk in Engineering Gateway 2130, Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. You should call ahead to see if a camera is available or to reserve a camera for use. 824-2222.

You will need to leave your UCI ID card with NACS and give us a copy of your driver's license or other picture ID in order to check one out.

When you return the camera, a help desk consultant will help you download the images. Typical time spent is about 30 seconds per image. Also allow time for previewing the images.
