Computer Accounts at UCI

Summary: NACS offers computer accounts to all faculty, staff, and students at UCI. All accounts offer email and disk storage. Student EA accounts offer shell access to the corresponding UNIX server.

NACS Mailbox Services

Faculty, Staff and Students are all given accounts on the NACS Mailbox System. This includes email and basic network access. Students also have basic Unix shell access on the system EA.

Orion

General purpose fee based UNIX access for the campus.

MPC (Medium Performance Computing) Beowulf Cluster

This Beowulf cluster is available to all researchers at UCI. Detailed information about the service including status, software and how to get an account is available.
