Tuesday February 9th, 2010 » Winter Quarter, Week 6
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) combines several existing IT units into a single, comprehensive organization. Currently, OIT includes Network & Academic Computing Services (NACS), Administrative Computer Services (AdCom), Academic Affairs Computing Services, Office of Research IT, and Graduate Division IT. Eventually, and in phases, other administrative IT units will be added.
Effective integration of IT activities takes time and will be implemented incrementally over coming months. For the present, everything about contacting and working with the consolidated units remains the same. Please continue to work with your current contacts in these organizations and rely on the appropriate help-desks, as you have done in the past. Our goal is to minimize disruption from IT consolidation activities and we intend to maintain current project schedules and commitments.

As of Friday, February 5th, the OIT Help Desk will be located in the Physical Sciences Quad modulars in Room 161.
